I have always relied on Stripe so far. I still do!
At first, even for this product I was using Stripe for collecting payments, and Zapier to send the payment info from Stripe to Mailerlite.
There were a few challenges. Was taking up one at a time. But Zapier started acting funny :( This was around 12-13 July if I remember correctly. Maybe a lot of you folks also had faced issues with your Zapier automations around that time. It was never fully functional for me afterward. Maybe I was doing something wrong. As a result, I had to send the welcome emails to several new customers MANUALLY!
Besides this, another major issue was - there was no way of fetching product info from payment event in Stripe and send the specific customer info to Mailerlite. I sought help from support teams of Stripe, Mailerlite & Zapier - Still no joy :(
Then started exploring Make to address this issue. Here's more on this: https://community.make.com/t/how-to-connect-stripe-and-mailerlite/10847
Got a fix. Tried to run with it for sometime. But finally decided to switch to LemonSqueezy just last week to keep things simple. Still, on an avg, making a sale a day: https://drive.google.com/file/d/1DWp10nD17t5IbUU6H4ZU4DDN9DfIvxFA/view?usp=sharing
How do I make this 10X ???
Therefore, I compiled a list of places to self promote before anything else. Listed it as a product too :) - https://www.shno.co/products/product-launch-arsenal
Figured, if I need this, many like me would need it too. Let's see.
More on promotions:
Since posting on IndieHackers, I've got about 120 landing page visits to Micro SaaS Inspiration Box!!! I'd have been happy if the conversion rate would have been 20%+ as before. LOL. But, it'll be too naive to expect that. While I've got more eyes, they are more of curiosity than of relevant, pressing need. Therefore, there is no change in the sales velocity.
So, my next challenge is to how to (more & more) attract relevant users and lead them to my landing page - https://www.shno.co/products/micro-saas-inspiration
More on this in my future updates as I learn/see/achieve something interesting.
