Despite goof ups, the revenue in October is exactly the same as that of September for https://www.shno.co/products/micro-saas-inspiration

-- $1,000+ per month milestone is still intact
-- Despite temporary but severe reduction in the traffic
-- Despite drawing a blank for 6 consecutive days. Yes! the product saw ZERO sales days for 6 days in a row; this had never happened since the launch. I had almost convinced myself IT'S OVER FOR THIS.

Thankfully, I was wrong :)

I prioritised optimising for SEO above all. As of today, my site - Shnoco's traffic has bounced back to ~90% of the previous levels.

I'm, now, again on track to break the 30k/month levels (organic traffic).

I'm, now, again in a position to start working on other priorities (besides SEO) and start smashing other goals.

I'm, now, again aiming for $6,000-$7,000 overall revenue in November from a little over $4,000 in October.

So, fires .... almoooooost .... doused :)

Sales were all time high for https://www.shno.co/products/micro-saas-inspiration

-- 30+ unit sales within 15 days
-- 10-a-day, 6-a-day, 5-a-day sales days
-- $800+ revenue in just the first half of the month

Was seeing a strong streak as well.

Shnoco's organic search traffic was about to breach 30,000 per month.

BUT.......

In an attempt to take a shortcut, I was trying some bulk content update ops on the Webflow site. Ended in a flustercluck 😩

• The site's traffic is now almost halved.
• ZERO sales since the last 2 days.
• Momentum broken
• Revenue dipping across affiliates, sponsorships, etc.. etc..

What looked like 6 to 7k/month will now close at 4k-ish. (Overall revenue from the website)

And, if this negative trend holds, then I'll be catapulted back by 6 months.

I'm hopeful (based on my experience), this should resolve itself.

However, I'm using this opportunity to optimise old content.

Busy dousing fires since the last few days. And, probably, will do the same for the next few days too :)

2 good things happened yesterday!

1. Crossed 100 unit sales overall (since the launch)
2. Hit 10 unit sales in a single day!

If I remember correctly, 4 unit sales in a day was the highest ever in the last 4 months since launch of Micro SaaS Inspiration Box: https://www.shno.co/products/micro-saas-inspiration

10-in-a-day was a distant dream!

The heck... hadn't even dreamed. LoL.

THE BIG UPDATE!!!!!

I'm almost done; making some final checks, fine tuning and stuff - Micro SaaS Inspiration Box will now consist 300+ super hot, relatively easily manageable, super profitable micro SaaS ideas.

Thanks to the feedback received thus far. Besides my own research, this time around, the 100+ new micro SaaS ideas that will be added soon, are all carefully handpicked ones from sites like ACQUIRED.COM

So, now, it's a really good, diverse bunch of ideas - all at one place of course!

Now, the burning question I'm posed with - WHAT SHOULD BE THE NEW PRICE?

• Micro SaaS Inspiration Box is now priced at $24

• I was surprised to discover similar products are priced at least 2 to 3 to even 10 times than this!

• I'm consciously catering to aspiring solopreneurs and bootstrappers; so, while there may be an audience that are willing to pay $100+ for this but my current audience, this might not be very desirable. And, I intend to serve this audience ONLY. I feel home here :)

• So, the dilemma - how to strike the right balance?

• • • I have spent almost a month to curate and expand this. I know that people are buying this to pick and choose and get inspired from this curation; so only a few matter to them.

• CONCLUSION - while I might have spent several hours to enrich the curation further but it doesn't mean the UTILITY TO MY AUDIENCE/CUSTOMERS increases manifold. It only increases MARGINALLY.

• So, I have decided against any significant mark up. An increase of 20-30% on this small base should be alright.

+++ Though I didn't advertise "lifetime updates" ever, but I guess I owe this to my early customers :) So, this update for all the current customers will be free. And, come to think of it, maybe it's a good idea to make it official - "LIFETIME UPDATES" - as I'm seeing good traction with this info product and it's motivation enough to keep this fresh, hot, regularly updated.

It's been a while I'm seeing decent traction for Micro SaaS Inspiration Box - https://www.shno.co/products/micro-saas-inspiration

I'm very well on the track to cross $1000/month this September, with this info product alone! (15 unit sales so far in 10 days, need 26 more in 20 more days; many indications that this is easy now :)

This got me thinking: If I were to make it a $2.5k/month product, what do I need to do?

What got me from 0 to 100 to 500 to now 1000, won't get me to 2500.

I'll need to expand the product further.

What are my options? What else could fit with micro SaaS inspo? And, it should be super useful, super in-demand, annnnd not be very expensive to research/build/curate 😬

Fell short of 11 unit sales in Aug.

I'm now more confident than ever to hit $1000 in September.

Why?

1. It's only 3rd day of the month, and I've had a solid start with 7 unit sales so far.

2. I've updated the product with over 50 refreshes. +++ Will be adding AI SaaS ideas - this will make the value proposition more attractive. I'M ROOTING FOR THIS MORE THAN ANYTHING ELSE!!!

3. There will be more organic traffic diverted to the landing page because of the SHINY NEW STICKY BANNER on a few relevant blogs. 4. I've a tiny promo plan. Will stick to it religiously. This will generate some more interest within the communities I promote the product.

5. I'll be increasing the price slightly after the next update when AI SaaS ideas are included. Though this will be a free update for all the customers up until that point. I'll need less no. of new unit sales to reach the goal of $1000 in a month.

Another month, another shot at the target 🎯

I'm looking at the glass full rather; Surpassed the previous month's 22 unit sales already, with one more week remaining in August. Hoping to hit $750.

A few updates:

AI SaaS ideas - Almost 50 now! Started collecting examples for each of these. Should be ready to expand the Micro SaaS Inspiration Box very soon. This price will jump from $24 to $29 then. I hope it'll be well received. (https://www.shno.co/products/micro-saas-inspiration)

PopUp - Phew 🥱 My indecision, back & forth with designs/functionality, and the challenges posed by Webflow; It's f%^&in still not done. My gut, and the data, says this is the easiest tactic I can employ to increase the sales significantly. I'm still caught up with other priorities.

Promotions - Zilch still. Where would I go if it were not for the SEO

Anyway, glass half full, remember? 🙂
