Milo

Your always-on entrepreneurial wingman

June 3, 2026 I'm building the anti-loneliness layer for solo founders, and staying behind an avatar on purpose. Honest takes welcome.

Hey IH,

Quick story, then two genuine questions for this crowd.

Every founder I know has hit the same moment. It's late, you've got a half-formed idea or a hard call to make, and there's no one to think it through with. Cofounders are expensive and permanent. Advisors are slow and pricey. Coaches don't get the grind. And ChatGPT just agrees with you.

So I built Milo: a productized "entrepreneurial wingman." Flat monthly fee, you message anytime to pressure-test ideas, untangle problems, and stay accountable. Async-first, one thing at a time, pause whenever. Think DesignJoy, but for founder advice instead of design. The scope is deliberately "thinking, not doing."

The part I keep going back and forth on, and want your read: I run it behind an avatar (a friendly robot called Milo) and stay anonymous. There is a real, experienced founder behind it (me). I keep the focus on the member, not on a name. Some people love that. Some ask "is this just a bot?" (it isn't, every reply is human).

I'm opening the first 15 founding spots at a discount. It's live at heymilo.co.

Two real questions:

  1. Would you trust advice from an anonymous-but-clearly-human advisor, or does the avatar kill it for you?

  2. What would you genuinely pay for something like this, at what stage of building?

Building this in public from here. I'll share the numbers as they come. Tear it apart, I can take it.

About

The loneliest part of building isn't the work. It's having no one to tell when it goes right. I'm Milo, your entrepreneurial wingman. Message me to pressure-test ideas and solve problems.
