Prewritten flashcards to remember top non-fiction books
Through COVID lock-down I read a lot. My job got cut to 1 day a week for 7 weeks so I had a lot of time to do online courses, read inspiring books and think.
I noticed that no matter how amazing a book was - The Lean Startup, The First 90 Days, Radical Candor - or how many notes I took hardly any of it stuck.
Apparently my brain isn't broken, we as humans generally have bad memories... it's not me, it's us, and it's a real thing!
It struck me as a huge waste of time to read these books and be unable to pull up the important parts when I needed them most. I would get joy and inspiration at the time of reading, but to actually apply the knowledge in a meaningful way with half baked memories of the key points was impossible.

About
We read many important books throughout our careers, but no matter how good we think our memory is, or how many mental notes we take, the reality is we forget more than 90% of what we read within weeks of reading it.
