A year after we first launch, we implement a quarterly subscription model in addition to a one-time payment option. As a result, the number of downloads increases. The option gives participants who are curious about the project but a little reluctant a chance to try it out.

The wired story is picked up by Tim Bradshaw, global tech correspondent for Financial Times. Tim shares his experience using the app for a couple of weeks calling it "Anti-Social photo app offers Antidote to Facebook and Instagram." We see another uptick in downloads.

May 31, 2017 Featured in Wired Magazine

After three months of reaching out to journalists and bloggers, Wired Magazine writes an article about the project calling it "The curious app that captures your unfiltered life". Number of downloads explore and the project quickly spreads on Twitter and other platforms.

March 1, 2017 Launched in App Store

Two years after the concept was first conceived we launched minutiae in the App Store. My co-creator and I first came up with the idea during a random encounter at the art/tech and design incubator NEW INC where we both were members. The App was built by UsTwo on a $10,000 budget and a two-year revenue share model.

minutiae was created in 2015 as a counter-reaction to the highly curated life we see on social media. It celebrates the mundane ordinary moments of life and is free from likes, comments, and profiles.
