Today I’m launching MixTranslate — an AI translation tool that lets you translate text into 150+ languages and compare results from ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini, DeepSeek, and 20+ other models side by side.
The problem I met
Whenever I needed a good translation, I ended up doing this:
Paste into Google Translate
Open ChatGPT and paste again
Try Gemini / Claude / ...
Compare outputs manually
Pick the one that sounded right
That workflow is slow, annoying, and easy to abandon. I didn’t want to switch apps. I didn’t want to check results one by one. I just wanted the best translation without the busywork.
The solution I built

It supports 150+ languages, custom glossaries for consistent terminology, tone/style control, and quality scores to help you choose faster. Privacy is built in: your text isn’t stored on our servers and isn’t used to train models.

Comparing outputs is useful, but the longer-term value may come from reducing decision fatigue rather than increasing choice. If users consistently find the right translation faster, that's a much stronger reason to return than simply having access to more models.
Great point, Aryan — and I think you’re right.
Having more models is only useful if it gets you to a better answer faster. If it just creates more options to stare at, that becomes another form of busywork. The real win is reducing decision fatigue.
That’s actually why we built Agent mode. When you select two or more models, it activates automatically and selects/combines the top translations for you — so you don't have to review every output one by one. You can still compare manually when you want control, but the default path is meant to get you to a strong result faster.
I'm glad it resonated.
Reading your reply gave me one thought about what users gradually stop deciding once they begin trusting Agent mode. I'd rather explain it in the context of your product than try to condense it into a thread.
