March 7, 2020 Came up with a monetization plan

Today, I drafted a strategy on how I could further monitize the product.

Currently, users can donate $ if they want.

But I plan to release "game modes" that will be offered initially as free trial, then can be unlocked with purchase (or subscription?)

One game mode is a productivity game mode where the game is paused for 25 minutes so the user can focus on their tasks. Features will include productivity tools that will come up when the game is paused: to do lists, notes, schedules?

I still need to do some tests (during the free trial) to gauge the interest.

December 24, 2019 First Ko-Fi donation

A user donated a ko-fi in support of the development of the project.

I just released the leader board feature at this point.

The traffic also spiked during this season. Might be because of the Christmas break when people usually went back to their home towns.

October 30, 2019 Came up with the idea

I started out just wanting to learn how I can use basic web dev tech: HTML, JS, and CSS to create a game.

I am an experienced Software Engineer but lately Web Development is all about JS libraries and Frameworks, and I got curious about how far I can go without using any.

I just wanted to use pure JavaScript.

I ended up creating a Minesweeper game just because my wife loves playing it. ;)
