Mockadillo is the easiest way to speed up development of cross cutting features. Every time I've worked on something that depends on a feature developed by a different team there was at least some friction. Not having a hard API contract defined or their backend being buggy, it was so frustrating. Now you no longer have to worry about that. You can mock the endpoints while they are being developed and remove friction during development, speeding it up and making the lives of your developers easy!

September 5, 2019 Finished MVP

It was really cool getting here, learning all of the different stuff needed to keep this as available as possible, while trying to keep things simple and easy.

Vanilla JS is the way to golang! Just render the page from the server and avoid bloated long loading and slow websites that frustrate anyone trying to use your app with the network tab being overfilled with requests.

Hope this goes well!

April 21, 2019 An idea is born!

As a full stack dev I've faced the issue of waiting for features before I can work and also being forced to push something that isn't ready for the light of day. Frustrated I used to make mocked servers locally but there is no way to share code, share changes and no easy way to maintain this. You could never deploy this because the mocked server isn't available remotely so you could never show off until the job is done.

Making something that solves this is now my priority!

About

Waiting for features as a developer causes frustration and sometimes friction between teams. By mocking services during development and establishing an API contract you resolve this and actually speed up development.
