Mockup Clips

This month saw the full public release of mockupclips.com to the world. We launched on producthunt.com and managed moderate success in the form of 2.6k unique views to our site, 84 upvotes, position 17 on the day, and some pretty interesting conversations. If you want a laugh, you can see a great pitch video from my co-founder matt at https://www.producthunt.com/posts/mockup-clips

We intend to pull together a more detailed video of what went well and what didn’t with the Product Hunt release in the next few weeks.

We also released a few bug fixes - most notably improving the live preview quality for non-retina screen users, the 360p render output quality, and bumping the free preview output from 360p up-to 720p.

After a month long private trial period, where we had friends and family test out our product for free, we've fixed bugs and ironed out the most egregious UX sins. Finally we feel that our product is ready for searing public judgement as we excitedly and with trembling hands click the "go live" button.

mockupclips.com is now live.

Wish us luck as we hammer the refresh button on our website analytics and stare despondently at the visitor counter!
