Lanched Moneto - a financial overview tool

Sounds awesome. Something missing from the landing page is how this works - do you integrate with all the other sources of data you mention? Which software specifically?
Hi @pauldmet, yeah, we'll add new information on the landing page. We don't have integrations yet. We'll implement Xero and QuickBooks.

Ok, had some time to toy with it…it's crazy, I remember trying to mimick this exact functionality in some spreadsheets a while back, and I just end up getting it to "having a rough idea" and calling that "good enough." Moneto basically encapsulates everything I was trying to do in a clean UI and effective experience. I think you nailed it, and I can't want to dive into it further!
I'm at the very beginning of my financial journey, so haven't been able to do anything beyond dummy data at the moment. But I like what I see!
Hi @zakke, yeah that's why we started working on Moneto. Trying to mimic this functionality in spreadsheet was a huge pain. What don't you like about Moneto?
I do notice that when I go to the "Entries" tab, I'm unable to see a list of all of my entries. If I want to see a particular list of entries, I first have to go to the parent category.
No complaints so far! I've been toying with it for a few days now and am really liking its simplicity and straightforwardness. Some of the labels kind of confused me, though, like "Partners." When I think of a partner, I think of someone I work alongside…but in this case, "Partner" can mean a client, vendor, or catch-all term for a category of income or expenses.

Looks good - there were some labels that were confusing and a couple minor UI inconveniences, all to be expected in beta. The cash flow graph feels nice to have.
It seems like one of the main benefits is to break up a company into multiple 'projects', but as a small bootstrapper my only real costs are hosting and some cross-cutting expenses like MailChimp. I wonder how you would break up a small company like this into different projects? I feel like I'm missing the potential of it

Sounds like you don't have a lot of transactions, just a few. I think Moneto will make sense for you when you will have more transactions.
"Partner" - Creating a project
"Payment Due" - when declaring income
Those were the two I can remember

I'll hopefully be launching an app/business in the next month so I was planning on setting up an account then. UI looks very clean and straightforward.
