Native MongoDB client for macOS
I have been building Mongo GUI, an independent native MongoDB client for macOS.
The goal is not to replace Compass as the official default. Compass is still the safest baseline recommendation for many people. Mongo GUI is aimed at Mac users who want a more native desktop workflow: row-first document browsing, reconnect restoration, Keychain-backed secrets, SSH/TLS, dashboards, exports, and a review-first AI workflow where generated Mongo snippets are checked locally before use.

One thing I'd be careful with:
A review step can sometimes look valuable because it catches mistakes.
Sometimes it's valuable because it changes what people are willing to trust in the first place.
Those can lead to surprisingly different products over time.
That's the part I'd be most curious about.
