MonsterOps

I started this journey because I was tired of having 5+ VMs running different things, a bunch of scripts scattered around my computer, changing VPNs all the time, opening multiple tabs just to piece together information, and so on.

It started as a small project, but then I was tasked with building a RADIUS system for an entire company's CPE fleet, more than 14,000 CPEs across 7 different networks.

Unfortunately, I left the company to move to another one, and the project died. But it was always in the back of my mind.

When I started my new job and had some more free time, I decided to pick the idea back up. Initially, I was building basically a FreeRADIUS GUI. But then I started remembering all the pain points I had with having multiple applications for different tasks, so I began adding the features I would personally want to have in a single place.

And the thing just kept growing.

What started as a RADIUS GUI has now turned into a full NAS/network management platform that can handle many of the things a network engineer would normally need several different tools for.

The project is called MonsterOps.

Since I'm not a programmer and, more importantly, don't have any real users giving me feedback yet, I would really like someone to actually try it and give me some honest feedback.

I'm not building this to make money. I just want to build the application that I, and hopefully other network engineers like me, have always wanted but never really found.

If you work with networks, RADIUS, NAS devices, or just deal with the same kind of tooling hell I described above, I'd really appreciate it if you could take 10 minutes to look around the project and tell me what you think.

Good, bad, confusing, useless, missing something — I want the honest feedback.
