Mood Journey
Your Emotional Wellness Companion
My fiancee suggested journaling. It can be anything - a pen and paper, trello board, evernote, google doc, or a journaling app.
Almost all journalling apps feel a little bit complex and overwhelming for what I needed.
What I wanted to track was simple - I wanted to record my mood on a daily basis, set an emotional rating and add some details how and why I feel the way I do.
And that's exactly what I built. There are only 3 inputs - good / bad day, emotional trigger and mood description. That's it. This is all the data you really need to recognize patterns in mood change, and understand emotional triggers.
Occasionally, I suffer from anxiety and depression. In general I'm a happy guy. I love what I do, writing code and creating cool things that other people get to use never gets boring. I have a lovely life with my fiancee and our dog. But, I get hit by anxiety and depression, and I hate the world and nothing matters anymore.
My mood swings happen unexpectedly. For example, most days I feel super jolly. Some days my mood goes from jolly to despair in a couple of hours. I always wondered what triggers these swings so my fiancee suggested I do something about it.

Mood Journey is an emotional wellness companion web app I developed because I suffer from depression and anxiety, and needed a way to track and understand my mood fluctuations and emotional triggers.

Interesting pricing model with API access for businesses. Are businesses interested in tracking moods?
Yeah, I have a few companies interested in tracking their employees mental health.
