HiReach

Cold email intelligence for SMB.

Visit Website
March 9, 2021 🥳 New brand, new website, much better product

So the first release last year was about finally getting something outside. Shipping.

After that, I was able to see more clearly how to evolve the product.

I moved from a catch-all name and ambiguous ideas to a singular concept.

I narrowed the product down from a generic growth tool to a cold email intelligence analyzer for sales professionals in SMB.

Basically, I combine outreach research from multiple channels, real-time, and collect information that can help approaching prospects in a personal manner. That's good for a cold email to succeed :)

June 16, 2020 Reworked the website

I am slowly moving away from an MVP/MDP/Prototype.

The first website was very basic. I confused some people with the need to install an extension, so I reworked the website so that it conveys how Moonkit.io actually works.

The website is still basic, but that's ok, this is a long run. I am doing ALL the work so I can't be bothered much with perfectionism and "detailism" 🙂.

Next, I will start publishing blog posts and some additional free services related to email outreach.

I like the site. The message is clear.
I installed the extension, didn't try it yet

After trying the extension I can say that it works nice, although I mainly found generic emails and not specific people.
I understand that it scrapes the website, right? Do you store the results for the next customer asking for the same site?
You might also want to ask people to add emails that they know, or complete the emails of people that you found without an email address.

Yeah, some websites don't mention people at all.

I build a cache of already scraped websites and I intend to serve those cached results when available.

June 10, 2020 Excited to finally ship after years of failing 🎉

After years of half-finished projects, I finally set the goal to ship even if new shiny objects were floating all over or even if I were losing interest.

https://moonkit.io is a Minimum Desirable (that's what I hope for) Product.

It lets you supercharge your browser with automated fast-browsing capabilities and information extraction algorithms.

Currently you can use it to extract people and emails from business websites. So it's similar to services like hunter•io but it's free, unlimited and it often yields better results 🙂.

Next: complete, real-time SEO analysis. ⚡️

Well done, half-finished projects and new ideas is also something I struggle with. Keep exercising that finishing muscle.

Congrats on shipping, finishing is one of the most important things to do!

@andy_f just curious as a fellow dev (who always struggle between decide whether to outsource or do it my own, have failed both ways and have felt guilty both ways :) ) , did you work on this part-time or full-time? how much effort went into this ? Could you describe a day in your life, when you worked to launch this one pls.

Good work mate. Just been trying it out for some prospecting. It would be cool if it could start scanning 'more likely to have contact details' pages first. For example, news/blog pages over store product pages.

You're right, thanks for the feedback 🙂

There is already an algorithm for prioritizing pages that would most likely contain contact info. I guess news/blog pages should be prioritized as well 🤔

Congratulations on meeting your goal. I also have to set deadlines to ensure I finish projects in reasonable time frame.

Congrats... I also did the same with my app ProGamer. I have a lot of ideas, but now I just decided to just ship my MVP and then take care of the details. Good luck with your product

April 11, 2020 Pivoted to a browser-powered marketing tool

I've decided to experiment with running my finder in the browser instead of a cloud server.

I started building a Chrome extension that enables automated fast-browsing and information extraction with the help of ML models and other algorithms from my finder.

My long-term plan is to create a specialized super-browser for growth hacking.

I'm not sure who is your target audience, but it's been a surprise I have to install an extension for the browser (non existent, Firefox here) to accomplish such browser-unrelated task.

October 5, 2019 Started building my own B2B outreach tool

All available email/contact finders are somewhat limited (I still need to do a lot of my own research to connect personally with the contacts), plus based on my initial code & research, I came up with an idea to get more accurate results.

I've decided to quickly prototype my own finder which also includes contextual information for a quality outreach.
