Moonlighter Delighter
Simple time tracking and invoicing for freelancers.
Updated and released the revised version of the marketing site. Designed to be more streamlined and focused on what Moonlighter Delighter does well. Also, add a bunch of niceties like better social share images and improved accessibility of the page.
It took a long time to move from idea to product ready for the public. I actually created MD for my own personal use. I used it for 6 months and then realized that I didn't have that much more work to do to make it a product that others could use. I set about finishing up those final steps and then turned Moonlighter Delighter on for the public in November of 2018.

I tried so many different time tracking apps, but they were all too complex for my needs. I was moonlighting for a small number of clients that would need help with tiny projects. An hour here; 20 minutes there. In the moment, it hardly seemed worth billing a client for 20 minutes. But, it also seemed unfair to bill the client a minimum rate. Instead, I'd collect loads of these small blocks of time for a single invoice. I, however, was terrible at remembering to do this and would essentially lose time because I couldn't find all of the time entries for a client.
The pain of trying to find these "lost hours" was the spark of the idea that would become Moonlighter Delighter. Moonlighter Delighter keeps track of all those hours and does a great job at highlighting when you should be billing. That time is represented as a dollar amount on your dashboard, so you know when you should be billing your clients.

Existing time tracking and invoicing apps were too complex and robust for my needs. I made Moonlighter Delighter as a simple solution to time tracking and invoicing.
