May 24, 2023 My application is starting to look a lot better

Recently I have had a renewed energy to continue developing my application. The new changes have really starting to make the application look a lot nicer. It's starting to be more polished and it looks more professional. I developed a permissions based activity log so that manager level users can view changes being made across the application. And basic level users can only look at their own changes. I improved edit and delete capabilities by adding icons for both. The icons are visible a part of the list pages for tickets, contacts and tasks. I also added a sorting feature for the tickets page. So users can sort by columns. In addition I created a filter dropdown so that tickets can be filtered based off status. Another huge win was refactoring the sidebar so that it is mobile friendly and is styled to look way nicer. Lastly I incorporated a new user flow when someone signs up for the application. Before upon initial signup the user was redirected to fairly empty page and had to create a project before seeing everything. Now with the latest changes, they are directed right into the core application.

Sounds like a lot more has been added, ride the new wave of energy and keep the momentum going! If not already done would suggest having MUST DO list and a nice to have bucket so you can really feel yourself making progress towards the 'finishing line' for that particular version.

    Keep going :)

July 11, 2022 Almost ready to launch Beta MVP

Currently www.motivware.com is a simple software solution designed to assist customer support reps with ticket management. Coming from a brief customer support background I decided this is the best direction for me. I already have some experience with customer support. So this will be to my benefit when developing the application. My goal is to develop a help desk software to provide customer support teams with an all-in-one tool. Currently the features that exist include creating tasks, contacts and tickets. With ability to organize tickets based off of ticket status. The application also provides capability to invite multiple teams members and upload a support team profile. As I continue to fine tune some things and add an additional feature for email integration. I plan to start reaching out and attempting to build an audience of users.

I am planning to first just focus on ticket management which will help organize tickets for customer support teams. I think this could potentially be enough to at least get some feedback.

What's the #1 use case here? What's the main issue you're solving? What's the feedback from potential users so far?

I ask not because I'm an expert, but just because I worry a little that trying to build all-in-one type tools might leave you overworked and finding it hard to capture users.

January 1, 2019 My Journey in the early stages

I started out building Motivware because I wanted to learn how to develop web applications. I always wanted to be a web developer since I was younger but I wasn't fortunate enough to get a web development job after college. Instead during nights and weekends, I would learn everything I could independently. I followed several online tutorials, built a bunch of dummy apps and started developing authentication and multi-tenancy functionality.

Finally, I decided to stick with the same application and started to think of different niche markets I could target. So here I am today with www.motivware.com.
