MovieSwipe

We launched our TikTok channel last week with not too much confidence about increasing our downloads, but yesterday we jumped on a TikTok trend and our video went freaking viral. We got soo many replies, feature requests and some bug reports. People even reacted with their own videos to our app.

I think the key message here is: DON'T UNDERESTIMATE TIKTOK!

Today I made it possible for users to find movies together with their friends.

The new SwipeParty enables users to create a party and invite their friends via a code or a link. This feels like it could be a huge user boost, because now I entice my users to invite their friends so that they can have even more fun.

That's big milestone that I didn't even anticipated when I started with MovieSwipe. I just wanted to play with animations and improve my Laravel skills, but now here we are.

I'm looking forward to the next milestones and the new SwipeParty feature that will launch in a few weeks.
