Moving Compared
We help home movers compare costs for trusted conveyancers,
Great data to work with — that impressions curve is a genuinely good story. Here's a draft:
We launched a UK home moving comparison site 3 months ago and here's what the data looks like so far...
Moving Compared is a comparison platform for people buying or selling a home in the UK. You can compare conveyancers, surveyors and removal companies in one place, something that didn't really exist before in a clean, consumer-friendly format.
We launched in March 2026. The site was brand new, zero domain authority, zero backlinks, zero organic traffic. The typical starting point.
Three months in, here's where we are on organic search:
39,600 impressions over the last 3 months
315 clicks
0.8% CTR
Average position: 35.1
The impressions curve tells the real story. It's been climbing steadily since mid-May and hit its peak at the end of June. That's roughly 10 weeks of foundational SEO work starting to compound: structured data implementation, content publishing, internal linking, author attribution for EEAT, and a pretty aggressive push on citations and backlinks over the last few weeks.
CTR is low, which makes sense at position 35. We are appearing, but not yet ranking high enough to get the click. The goal now is to push that average position below 20, at which point CTR should start to move meaningfully.
Things we've found useful this early:
Getting citation consistency nailed across 30+ directories early (NAP signals matter more than people think for a brand new domain)
JSON-LD schema on every page from day one
Publishing consistently even with a small team
Still a long way to go but the trajectory is pointing the right way. Happy to answer questions from anyone building in the PropTech or comparison space.

The impressions are encouraging, but I'd be careful not to treat visibility and market validation as the same thing. As rankings improve, one of the most useful signals will be whether higher visibility also changes the quality of users who convert—not just the volume.
