MSABundle

Proud to present my first year results for a project that has taken cumulatively less than 40-50 hours of setup and about 2-3 hours per month after that! Big spike in the fall when I started moonlighting as a guest co-presenter of Brennan Dunn's "Double Your Freelancing Rate" courses, where I got to plug MSABundle liberally. Also was happy to add my offer letter template in October. The plan for next year is to continue adding a document per quarter, but only if I can actually derive it from real documents that I'm using in my businesses. Also I want to experiment with paid SEM strategies--so far everything has been word of mouth and casual organic growth hacking.

I had intended to get some additional complementary products added soon thereafter, but things with my startup (and primary focus) got super hectic. Looking at sales I see that I have grossed $3000 with very little effort. Best of all, my fixed costs are super low, just the cost of Shopify and Fetchapp subscriptions.

Today I finally was able to launch the second product on the site, which is a Retained Services Agreement (aka "RSA"). It is a generalization of the RSA that I've been using with my own clients and a badass tool in the consultant toolbelt, since it calls for non-refundable upfront money.

Planning to offer both products together in a bundle so that there's an effective upsell on the site.

After about a week's worth of work to prepare the first product, the MSA+SOW bundle (which the project is named after), and setup my Shopify storefront, I began putting the word out through channels such as my blog and personal newsletter. Took a few days but now super excited to have my first organic sale, to someone called i85media. I don't know who it is, but I can tell based on the name that it is someone based here in Atlanta. Super exciting to have this project up and running with a relatively low amount of effort.
