Music Beaver
A tool to organize your music ideas
After multiple attempts at "manual marketing" (cold emailing potential users, reaching out via SoundCloud, YouTube) I struggled to get any interest or sign ups to the product. The feedback I received was from musicians who were happy with their existing systems (Excel, Evernote), or they were not interesting in purchasing a product for the sole use case of organizing music metadata. Thus my conclusion is I seem to have not found a problem worth solving (or my solution just isn't quite right) - so I'm going to take my learnings from this project and start planning for my next idea.
It took 6 weeks, but I'm finally done building the minimum viable product for Music Beaver. Half of that time was invested into learning the Bubble platform. And the other half was going through several iterations of the product as I got more comfortable with Bubble. Now moving into the marketing phase as I look to find my first users.

I set a goal to come up and build a fully-functioning SaaS product within four weeks. The idea for Music Beaver came after I consistently experienced the problem of organizing the recordings of my music idea. I did some research and found most people use Evernote or Spreadsheets to organize this data. I figured there was an opportunity to build a dedicated solution to tackle this problem.

I set a goal to learn a no-code tool and build a full SaaS product within four weeks. I wanted the product to be something I could use. I had the problem of keeping my various music idea recordings organized.
