My Farm Ledger
Track crops, costs, and profit — built for small farmers
My father runs a small family farm. He's been managing everything with paper notebooks for years — crop cycles, expenses, harvests. It works, but at the end of each season he has no idea which crops actually made money.
I'm a developer, so I built him a tool. It tracks plots, logs farm activities with a few taps, and calculates ROI automatically when a cycle ends. Offline-first, because farm fields don't always have signal.
When I showed it to him, he said "amazing" — and then asked if I could just record everything for him. He's not comfortable with phones, even with the simplest interface.
The problem is real. I figured there are probably more farmers like him out there — so I built it into something anyone could use, and decided to put it out there.
So I kept simplifying. Every action is a tap, no typing required except for numbers.
If you manage a small farm and have been looking for something simpler than a spreadsheet, this might be useful to you. It's lightweight and works as a PWA — though I've only tested that on my own phone so far, so let me know if you run into anything.
Feel free to try it and let me know — whether it helped, what's missing, or what could be better. Every piece of feedback means a lot at this stage.

About
I built this for my father's small farm. He tracked everything on paper but never knew which crops made money. I wanted to fix that with something simple enough for anyone to use.
