March 20, 2026 Mybets.gg Update — AI bet tracker, bulk import, and what I learned shipping fast

Update on mybets.gg — an AI-powered sports bet tracker I've been building. Quick recap if you haven't seen it before: users install a Chrome extension, snap their betslip, and our Vision AI reads it automatically. Any bookmaker, any country, no manual entry.

What shipped this month:

Bulk bet history import
The biggest one. Users can now screenshot their entire bet history page and import every bet at once. This unlocks a huge use case — people who've been betting for months but never tracked anything. One screenshot clears the backlog.

Draft system
When the AI can't fully read a betslip (stake not visible, odds cut off), instead of failing silently it now saves what it could extract as a "draft." Users get a notification, can fill in the missing fields, and the bet gets promoted to active. Sounds small but it killed a major frustration point.

Chrome extension 1.0.3
Fixed a nasty bug where the extension showed "Bet Tracked" even when the bet hadn't actually saved. Classic false positive — the API was returning 200 with a warnings object but no bet, and the extension only checked the status code.

What I learned:

  • Ship the MVP of a feature first, polish later.

  • False positives are worse than failures. Users trusting the app and losing bets silently is the worst possible outcome.

Where it's at:

Still early, growing slowly. The Chrome extension is the main acquisition channel — word of mouth from bettors who try it and stop using spreadsheets.

Biggest challenge right now: distribution. The product works well, getting it in front of the right bettors is the hard part. If anyone has cracked sports betting communities I'd love to hear it.

January 22, 2026 Hit $60 MRR, got 4 paying users, and then... ghosted my own project for a month.

Hey everyone,

We see a lot of success stories here, but I wanted to share what the "messy middle" actually looks like.

A few months ago, I built and launched mybets.gg. It’s a bet tracker designed to help sports bettors properly manage their bankroll and analyze their betting ROI.

Getting the first few users was an amazing high. But then, reality hit.

Here are my raw, transparent stats right now:

  • Total Revenue: $113

  • MRR: $60

  • Active Subscribers: 4

  • Total Visitors: 1,850

  • Organic Clicks (Google): 46

Bet tracker google searchMRRmybets.gg total visitors

The Wall: Building the product was the fun part. But looking at my analytics and seeing that only 46 out of 1,850 visitors came from Google completely destroyed my motivation. I realized just how hard SEO is—especially in a competitive and somewhat restricted niche like sports betting.

I felt so overwhelmed by the marketing side that I lost my drive completely. I ended up ghosting my own project. For an entire month, I didn't write a single line of code, didn't tweak the site, and didn't post anywhere.

The Comeback: I’m pulling myself out of the rut today. I have 4 paying users who trust this bet tracker with their data, and I owe it to them to keep improving it.

Right now, my biggest hurdle is off-site SEO and distribution. Since traditional advertising for anything betting-related is tough, I have to rely on organic traffic, but starting from domain authority zero is brutal.

My question for the community: For those of you who have built products in "difficult" or highly competitive niches, how did you get your first real SEO traction? What is the highest-ROI activity I can do right now to start ranking, rather than just waiting on Google to notice me?

Appreciate any harsh truths or advice you've got!

January 22, 2026 MyBets.gg Update: 456 Visitors, 43K Reddit Views, $0 Revenue – Learning In Public

Two weeks ago I launched mybets.gg, an AI-powered sports bet tracker. I’m still very early, just trying things, breaking things, and seeing what sticks. This is an honest update on what I’ve done so far and what I’m still completely unsure about.

The Numbers (January 2026)

google analytics

Traffic so far:

  • ~456 visitors to the site this month (analytics says 453 new)

  • Peak: around 120 visitors on January 21st

  • ~43.5K post views Reddit

Domain DA

SEO / backlinks:

  • Domain Rating ~13 (Ahrefs)

  • ~800 backlinks from ~80 domains

  • New blog + tools section just launched, so no real SEO results yet – I’m in “wait and see” mode.

Money:

  • Monetization is enabled

  • $0 in sales so far

I’m not trying to make this sound bigger than it is. I’m happy the graphs are finally above zero, but this is all still tiny and very early.

What I’ve Actually Done

1. Programmatic SEO Experiments (pSEO)

I’ve just built a set of free betting tools and wired them into a /tools page:

  • Kelly Criterion calculator

  • Expected Value (EV) calculator

  • Arbitrage calculator

  • Odds converter

  • Implied probability calculator

  • ROI calculator

  • Parlay calculator

  • No-vig & vig/hold calculators

The idea came from seeing interesting threads on X about programmatic SEO for SaaS. I liked the model:

build useful tools → index them → hope they bring in long‑tail organic traffic over time.

Right now I have no proof it works for mybets.gg. They’ve only just gone live, so I’m basically sitting here waiting to see if impressions and clicks start appearing in Search Console over the next 1–3 months. I’m very much in “let’s see if this does anything” territory, not “this is crushing it.”

2. Added a Blog to Support SEO

Same story here: I’ve set up a blog and written a few long-form posts to support the tools and future SEO, but I don’t have results to brag about yet.

These are there to give Google something to index and to have internal links pointing into the tools and the main product. I don’t know yet if any of these will rank. This is an experiment, not a case study.

3. Reddit Promotion

It was great for visibility, but:

  • It did not magically turn into loads of signups or revenue.

  • Most people just read, upvoted, and moved on.

Reddit was good for a spike and some social proof, but I don’t want to pretend it “changed everything.” It didn’t. It just proved people are at least interested enough to click.

Reddit metrics

4. Backlinks

I’ve been submitting to different sites and directories. That’s how I ended up with ~800 backlinks from ~80 domains and a DR of about 13.

I’m aware that:

  • A lot of these links are probably low‑value.

  • DR 13 is still basically “baby stage.”

Next step is to focus more on quality links (betting / SaaS relevant) instead of just chasing counts.

Where I’m Confused

  1. SEO expectations
For people who’ve done SEO seriously:

    • Is DR 13 → DR 25–30 in 1–2 months realistic if I focus on higher‑quality links and keep publishing?

    • How long did it take before your content + tools started bringing in meaningful organic traffic?

  2. Programmatic SEO sanity check
    For those who’ve tried PSEO:

    • Does a tools page + supporting articles sound like a sane approach?

    • What would you do differently if you were starting this from scratch?

  3. What would you do next if you were me?
    Given:

    • 456 visitors

    • 43K Reddit views

    • DR 13

    • Blog + tools just launched

What I’m Planning Next (Subject to Change)

Short term (next 30 days):

  • Keep publishing 1–4 solid blog posts per week to build out the content cluster.

  • Slowly shift link building from “anywhere that will list me” to “a few relevant, higher‑quality sites.”

Medium term:

  • Product Hunt launch.

Why I’m Posting This

Not to show off, because honestly there’s nothing impressive here yet. I’m posting because:

  • I’ve started to get some traffic.

  • I’ve wired up pSEO and a blog, but have no idea if I’ve done it right.

  • I’m new to SEO and SaaS growth and don’t want to keep guessing in a vacuum.

If you’ve grown a SaaS, played with programmatic SEO, or turned free tools into paid users, I’d really appreciate any blunt feedback or “if I were you, I’d do X next.”

Happy to answer any questions about what I’ve tried so far, or share numbers in more detail if that’s helpful.

Just checked my domain DA again and guess what!

It has updated and gone to 24!

January 17, 2026 I built an AI bet tracker because EU bookies don't have public APIs.

Traditional bet trackers rely on APIs that European and Arbitrage bookies don't provide. So, I built a SaaS that uses AI Vision and a Chrome Extension to "read" the bets directly from the screen instead.

The Problem: The API Gap I’m a high-volume bettor (mostly arbitrage) based in Europe. If you bet in the US, you can use apps that sync with DraftKings or FanDuel via official APIs. It’s easy.

But if you are in the EU or chasing arbitrage lines on obscure "soft" bookies, you are out of luck. These sites rarely have public APIs. This left me and thousands of other "sharp" bettors manually typing data into Excel sheets 50 times a week. It was unscalable and painful.

The Solution: The "Visual" Adapter I realized that while these sites don't have APIs, they all have a UI. So, I decided to build a "universal adapter" using computer vision.

1. The Chrome Extension (Desktop): I built an extension that parses the active DOM of the betslip on supported sites. It grabs the odds, stake, and potential payout with one click. It’s much faster than an API call would be anyway.

2. The AI Scanner (Mobile): For mobile users, I fine-tuned a vision model to read screenshots of betslips. It identifies the bookie, extracts the numbers, and standardizes the data format (American vs Decimal odds).

The Stack & Business Model

  • Product: mybets.gg

  • Target: Arbitrage traders, EU bettors, and anyone tired of manual spreadsheets.

  • Monetization: Freemium.

Current Status & Challenges The MVP is live. The biggest challenge now is marketing to "Sharps" who are naturally skeptical of new tools. I'm positioning this not as a "tout" service, but as a strict accounting tool for serious players.

Looking for Feedback: I’d love to hear your thoughts on the landing page messaging. Does the value prop of "No API required" make sense to a non-bettor? Or should I lean harder into the "Time Saved" angle?

Check it out here: https://mybets.gg

Thanks!

January 14, 2026 I built an AI Chrome Extension to kill my betting spreadsheets

Hey IndieHackers! 👋

I’m a solo dev and an active arbitrage bettor. If you don’t know what that is, it basically involves placing hundreds of bets a week across dozens of different sites to capture small math edges.

The Problem:

My volume was high, but my tracking was a nightmare.

* API Trackers: Apps like Pikkit are great but only support big US books (DraftKings/FanDuel). They break constantly and don't support the niche sites where arbitrage actually happens.

   * Excel: Reliable, but I was spending ~5-10 hours a week just manually typing: "Odds: 2.10, Stake: $50, Result: Win" into rows. It was burning me out.

The Solution:

I realized the only "Universal API" is the visual interface itself. If I can see the betslip, an AI should be able to read it.

So I built mybets.gg

How it works (The Tech):

   1. Chrome Extension: I built a Manifest V3 extension that injects a capture overlay onto any website.

   2. Capture: You click/drag over the betslip area.

   3. Processing: It sends the screenshot to my backend (Next.js) where I use Google Gemini 2.5 Flash (via Vercel AI SDK) to OCR the image.

   4. Sync: It parses the JSON (Odds, Stake, Team) and saves it to my DB (Neon/Postgres) instantly.

 The Result:

I can now log a bet in about 3 seconds without leaving the browser tab. I added a dashboard with heatmaps and drawdown charts because I'm a data nerd and wanted to see my "edge" visually.

Monetization:

  I’m running a Freemium model.

   * Free: Manual tracking + 15 AI scans/mo (to let people try the tech).

   * Pro ($9.99/mo): 300 AI scans + CSV Exports.

   * Pro+ ($19.99/mo): Unlimited volume for heavy users/syndicates.

I’d love to hear what you think! Is anyone else using LLM Vision for "boring" data entry tasks like this?

Cheers! 🚀

Congrats on the launch! Out of curiosity, which analytics metric ended up being the biggest eye-opener for you, retention, activation, or something unexpected?

About

Built it to solve my own burnout from manual data entry. As an arbitrage trader using niche sites, standard API-based trackers didn't work for me. I needed a tool that could work on any sportbooks website.
