MyDiary AI
Voice Journaling Android App
In the launch, I messed up the pricing. I added lifetime plan ($19.99) and monthly plan ($4.99). This did got me some lifetime users but my MRR was still $5.
So yesterday rolled out a new update, and pushed Annual plan. Now the pricing was Monthly ($4.99), Annual ($29.99), and lifetime ($59.99). And got the new subscriber from Europe.
The MRR is slowly growing, and I am very positive of this. Will still do experiments with the paywall design and pricing.

Hey IndieHackers community 👋
I'm totally new here and starting my build in public journey. I recently launched MyDiary AI, a voice journaling app and today I've published a big release of the new version.
The problem: I have been using a physical hard copy diary for few years now and put my thoughts on it regularly. But keeping a diary with me all the time during travel and with kids etc becomes hard, so I wanted a on-the-go solution to keep me sane and help me reflect.
The solution: I created a very minimal, ideally one-tap UX, app for voice journaling. The main target audience for this app is busy people who don't have time to write diaries and can easily do journaling with voice, even in the cars while driving etc.
I have published v2.0.0 of the app today on Google Play. I have listened and talked to many users and some paying customers in last few weeks and added the features needed. The biggest request was for privacy and security of the diaries data.
Since diaries and journaling is very sensitive, so I have now removed the cloud sync option. Instead users are given Google Drive backup option (like WhatsApp) and users can backup their own diaries in their own Google Drive account and app's server doesn't keep any data at all for diaries. It's a win-win for both me and users.
Currently at $11 MRR (and around $200 lifetime plan sales), bootstrapped, and learning as I go. Would love feedback from fellow indie hackers!
