A few months ago I started wondering: when someone asks ChatGPT or Perplexity for "best tools for X", am I even in the running? Google I understand. AI answers felt like a black box.
Turns out there's a whole discipline forming around this, called GEO (Generative Engine Optimization). It's SEO's younger, weirder sibling. And most websites have no idea where they stand.
