Mylo
Your personal workout assistant.
I had created Mylo's first landing page a while ago without putting much thought into the content or message.
Now that I'm finally refocusing on actually releasing this I went back to it. A lot of the feedback I had gotten on it, and noticed myself, was that it just didn't make sense.
You had to scroll and read quite a good amount before Mylo's purpose was made clear, I hated that.
For the update I referred to the landing page guides by Julian Shapiro (https://www.julian.com/guide/growth/landing-pages) and Marketing Examples (https://marketingexamples.com/conversion/landing-page-guide).
I don't know if it's perfect but I've wasted enough time striving for perfection. This is already much better and I can always iterate on it.
So check it out at www.mylo.fit and let me know what you think!
The idea for Mylo came about because of 2 opposing moods: laziness and perfectionism.
I wouldn't describe myself as a workout-holic but whatever I do I always go full on with knowledge building and from the beginning I wanted to keep track of my workout progress, perfectionism.
It was awesome to find that there were apps to track progress but even they required too much effort. I had my workout plan and progressions followed clear rules like increase weight by x each workout. So it was a hassle to remember to do that each time and honestly I'd sometimes get confused if I had added numbers last time or at the start of this session...
That's laziness.
So I decided to make Mylo.
The previous summer I had built a single page that could only display my current workout and had very rigid progression rules, out of CRUD it only had the R. 🤷🏾
But it proved that it worked and that it was useful.
Since then I've been building out the actual application. The usual process when making a product is usually to confirm demand for your product but in this case Mylo was something I myself wanted to use.

Compared to other trackers, Mylo aims to automate all the hassle. With Mylo you can add progression rules to any workout you create. That way, every workout you follow or share will automatically progress as you train.
