Instead of just being for product designers, this is geared towards all product people: designers, managers, marketers, and developers. This was a natural next step, and hopefully will help to seem more interesting to few related roles in the product space.

I added this to Kern.al, https://kern.al/idea/the-opposite-of-a-job-board-an-ideal-role-board, and got some upvotes and even one person say they'd like to invest! I am currently trying to connect with them to see next steps here, as this is the first time someone has said they'd invest in a project of mine =)

As a product designer, I have a small network that I am hopeful to tap into, as well as know the trade, and likely what goes into the minds of people like me (obviously a gross oversimplification here). The biggest hurdle here is getting this to not look like an empty (:crickets:) community.

I designed the MVP, then built it in rails. I purposefully want this to be without names, avatars, genders, etc. to help reduce bias as much as possible. I also created a few CSVs of job titles, companies, skills, etc. to pre-seed the autocompletes and to make the setup process easier.

I just keep seeing people post on LinkedIn or Twitter for some great role they have, and being honest I don't care. I think most of us don't care as this is adverts being thrown at us with no focus or care. Or I get hit up by recruiters a lot for roles that I would never be interested in.

Isn't there a better way?
