political engagement, democratic inclusion
So I figured if I followed the Agile way, there would always be something to release no matter how small. Maybe the idea itself, maybe wireframes or sketches or prototypes or mockups that could attract potential collaborators - which for me is the most important missing part.
So I registered a website - we have a home on the internet though empty!
Took the major step of commencing the development of the solution. Read a few web application tutorials, ramped up my programming skills that had been idle, got a few collaborators and started at snail speed. It was no longer an idea in my head.
Baby steps.

I have always had many ideas but I forget most of them. But this one refused to go and kept mutating in my mind. From a discussion group of people with ideas to solve political problems to a database of public officials to election results history.
Notwithstanding, the idea to build software to cater for the politically-active was borne around this time or earlier.

Because I want citizens to matter in politics, to know their candidate and select the best choice, for public officers to be accountable to the people, for people to trust politics, government once again.
