Actually, this was a result of a number of marketing campaigns on Facebook and Vkontakte (Russian Facebook). At the same time our social media teammate has spent a significant efforts on delivering an exiting content to our social media and Medium page. We are very proud that 600 video production studios and videographers have made a decision to give a try to our solution!
For some time we were getting the requests to allow uses to synchronise multiple cameras using soundtrack of the footage. We made a research of the currently existing solutions and discovered that our multicam overnight prototype works almost with the same efficiency as those of our mature competitors. After some code refectory we've introduced this feature to our dear users :)
For people doing video editing professionally it is quite common to generate proxy files to edit video faster. Making proxy files easy actually an easy task. When doing our computer vision magics we usually compress video files x32 or x64 which is actually proxy files generation.
After some customer reviews we've realised that we have to make it available inside our solution to make our users a bit more happy when doing video editing.
Actually, yes! We got our first paying customer. In fact, we made our first sales in January and the number started to grow since then. The number is not that high but as we can see 65% of those paying customers who came to us in January and early February are still with us!
On December, 17 we had a Demo Day at Sberbank 500 (Russian batch of 500 Startups). It was an amazing experience that made us to re-think our assumptions about our product and our team, make a pivot and raise some additional funds.
We were acknowledged among top teams in that batch and got special attention from major Russian content producers.

One of our old friends made a risky decision to support our project and made a commitment for around $100K. After celebrating this we've realised that simply don't know how do we technically can put the investments into the company. After figuring this out we've managed to found an early stage venture company that tripled our resources right after that.
Those days we had a video production in Moscow, RU that made video commercials for Bosch, VW, Harley Davidson and some other big companies. Each time after an amazing day of video shoot we had to turn back to the exhausting and boring video editing routine.The most time consuming was video review and shots annotation.
One day when we were attending an open lecture of top Russian computer vision expert we've decided to build a solution that would make professional-like video editing.
To start this process we've made a decision to build a tools that would help to eliminate the routine part. It is now done.
On the next step we intended to offer a solution that would be capable of making personalised videos of high-quality editing. It is almost finished now and soon will be released.
