I just sent my first newsletter out to my 12 subscribers. Admittedly, I had hoped that number would be at least 100 today, but I rushed my launch and didn't get a lot of traction. In fact, 12 subscribers for the pitiful amount of views I had on my various Product Hunt, Reddit, Indie Hackers posts is pretty good going to be honest.

Lessons learnt, my next launch will be better.

Used my extremely basic coding skills to put together a simple static website and hosted on AWS S3. Created a simple newsletter in Mailchimp and added a sign up form to the website.
