Netlify Wrapped

I've seen many products come and go through Hacker News. It's one of my favourite platforms for discovering new products and reading interesting content.

I never had any intention of charging for Netlify Wrapped – it was just a fun idea I wanted to explore.

Once I had a working MVP and a set of features I was happy to launch with (launch early!), I made a post on HN.

I quickly got to work on an MVP – starting by exploring the Netlify API and what the possibilities were with it.

I soon realised that the API was fairly straight-forward and with prior experience in React, I was able to get a prototype up and running within a day.

Largely inspired by Spotify, I have seen a lot of "wrapped" websites popping up on Twitter and other social platforms.

I decided it would be awesome to explore a new API for a service I use quite frequently, which landed me on Netlify. I thought it would be cool to amalgamate statistics about builds and deploys on Netlify that aren't as readily available through the regular UI.
