Neurodiverge App
Free AuDHD & neurodivergent self-screens — written by ND
Everything in Neurodiverge App is provided for educational and informational purposes only.
Neurodiverge App does not provide medical advice, diagnosis, treatment, therapy, or clinical assessment. We are not licensed clinicians, and the app is not a substitute for advice from a qualified healthcare professional.
Any self-screens, reflections, scores, or insights in the app are not diagnostic tools. They are only starting points for personal reflection and, where relevant, for a conversation with a licensed clinician.
Do not use Neurodiverge App to make medical decisions, self-diagnose, start or stop treatment, or delay seeking professional help. If you have questions about your mental health, neurodivergence, symptoms, or wellbeing, please speak with a qualified clinician.
Over the last few years, more adults have started asking questions like: "Am I autistic?", "Do I have ADHD?", or "Could I be AuDHD?" Unfortunately, many autism tests, ADHD screening tools, and neurodiversity resources are either outdated, heavily medicalized, or hidden behind paywalls.
That's why I built Neurodiverge App, a free library of neurodivergent-affirming self-screens and guides for adults exploring autism, ADHD, AuDHD, masking, sensory differences, and related neurodivergent traits. The platform includes widely known tools such as the AQ-10, RAADS-R, ASRS-v1.1, CAT-Q masking assessment, Sensory Profile, Aspie Quiz, and a custom-built AuDHD screen designed specifically for people who identify with both autistic and ADHD experiences.
Everything is written in identity-first language and built from a neurodivergent perspective. The goal isn't diagnosis—it's self-understanding. Whether you're an autistic adult, an ADHD adult, someone exploring a possible AuDHD profile, or a parent raising a neurodivergent child, the app aims to provide accessible information without gatekeeping.
The core platform is free forever. For those who want additional support, there's an optional Pro tier that adds tools like sensory load tracking, energy and spoon tracking, an AI neurodivergent coach, routine-building support, and a growing library of neuroaffirming content. The free experience will always remain available, with Pro designed to add value rather than lock essential resources behind a paywall.
I'd love feedback from anyone interested in autism screening, ADHD self-assessment, AuDHD, neurodiversity, masking, sensory processing, or neurodivergent-friendly technology.

Sincerely thank you. I've always thought that there must be more investment in this field. Technology can help neurodivergent people, and i believe in this firmly. One question, you said autism in adults, can i use your app for a 5 year old kid?

This is genuinely useful for a community that is underserved. The thing people tend to want right after a self-screening result is connection: who else is like me. Worth building toward that.

The fact that most of these tests are buried behind clinical websites or paywalls is something that genuinely frustrates a lot of people who are just trying to understand themselves better. Keeping the core free forever is the right call here because trust is everything with this audience and any paywall on basic self-understanding would kill that instantly.

I have both autism and ADHD and this is scary. Are you a psychiatrist or psychologist or neurologist? If the answer is no then you're a well intentioned lay person playing at a medical professional. The diagnostic process is rigorous for a reason because the effects of misdiagnosis can be genuinely harmful to someone's life. For example there is a lot of overlap between the symptoms of autism and early developmental trauma and equally between acute anxiety and ADHD; all of which have very different treatments.
The advice for people who have some symptoms of autism and adhd is to try techniques for managing the symptoms that are non harmful and non medical and there are plenty of licenced therapists who have written great advice on how to do this. Using an "AI neurodivergent coach" is a terrible idea too because AI makes stuff up that can be actively harmful to a neurodiverse person and if someone can afford to pay for that "premium" feature then they should just get a therapist instead.
I really hope you are a licenced professional. If you're not but you have the best of intentions please partner with one. And if this is just a cash grab because existing medical infrastructure is insufficient then remember that once your app starts giving incorrect or harmful advice you'll be sued extensively.-

Thank you for your comment. We fully agree that diagnosis and treatment belong with qualified professionals.
Neurodiverge App is educational and self-reflective only. It is not a diagnostic tool, medical device, therapy service, crisis service, or substitute for a clinician. It does not diagnose, treat, assess, prevent, or monitor autism, ADHD, AuDHD, trauma, anxiety, or any other condition.
The questionnaires, summaries, scores, and AI responses are non-diagnostic. They are meant to help people notice patterns, organise their thoughts, and, where relevant, prepare for a conversation with a qualified professional.
We are also making ongoing updates to the product - including clearer wording, safety notes, and stricter AI boundaries - so the experience stays useful, careful, and clearly non-clinical.
We take this seriously and appreciate thoughtful feedback from clinicians and neurodivergent people.

Love the focus on identity-first language and stripping out the medical jargon. Most screening tools feel way too sterile and overwhelming to actually finish. Definitely bookmarking this.

Intent is clear and good — identity-first language, free core platform, "self-understanding not diagnosis." The community needs more affirming tools.
But honest feedback: IH is the wrong feedback audience. This is medical-adjacent assistive technology, not B2B SaaS. People whose feedback matters: autistic and ADHD adults, neurodivergent advocates (ASAN, CHADD), clinical psychologists, healthcare-tech compliance counsel.
Two things to verify before more launch effort:
Clinical instrument licensing. AQ-10, RAADS-R, CAT-Q, Sensory Profile, Aspie Quiz have copyright implications for commercial use. Sensory Profile is owned by Pearson with known enforcement history. Need written licensing confirmation for commercial deployment with Pro tier.
AI neurodivergent coach is the bigger regulatory concern. Mental health AI is heavily regulated (FDA pre-market guidance, EU AI Act high-risk category). If AI gives autism/ADHD advice, you're in regulatory territory. Healthcare-tech legal review before shipping.
Real feedback channels: r/AutisticAdults, r/AutisticPride, r/ADHD, r/adhdwomen. Reach out to ASAN and CHADD directly.

This is a strong direction, especially because the promise is self-understanding rather than diagnosis.
One thing I’d be careful with is the bridge between the free screening library and Pro. In this category, people are sensitive to anything that feels like essential support is being pushed behind a paywall, so the positioning has to make Pro feel like extra guidance, tracking, and daily support, not access to understanding yourself.
The strongest trust angle might be:
“Free self-screens for clarity. Optional tools for daily support.”
That keeps the free product protected while still making the paid tier understandable.
I’d also make the onboarding very careful: first reassure users that this is not diagnosis, then help them understand what to do with their results, then introduce Pro only after they have received value.
If you want, I can put together a short written breakdown around trust-first positioning, free-to-Pro messaging, onboarding flow, and the best first user segment for this.
