April 20, 2020 Launched to first real cohort

Needing feedback so finally decided to put the apps out there for a small cohort to use. Got both apps up in Google and iOS stores. Signed up for the developer account and took a couple days to get the app through the apple store process.

The users are downloading and sending notes as I type this. Most are sending screenshots as well. It's already been great and confirms what I already planned to work on next.

Onward.

August 7, 2019 First User Found Bugs Reported

I don't consider this a great thing because nobody wants bugs in their code. But, The fact that a user found bugs in the software means that people are using the app and software. This is an exciting milestone since it has largely been just me, the founder, until now.

Now back to asking for more feedback and putting it on the roadmap.

July 28, 2019 First closed beta rc pushed to the Google store.
  • First product release is exciting, even if limited.
  • How to create a release in the android store.
  • How to work with "early access" users to get them the app.
  • Automated testing really helps me maintain the codebase.
  • Building in the feedback system was completely worth it.
  • Ton more work to do.
