New Theory

We have just brought in a new contract that puts us past 5 figures (monthly). The amount will increase month-to-month as we help the client with their growth needs.

Being that we're only a couple of months old this is a massive win for us and we're looking to use the money to help our agency scale.

Having started several companies, I know how difficult it can be to bump up web site traffic.

The first couple of months, we really made a strong push with outbound efforts to get some clients and put up a simple splash page, just to get us some business.

We started using social and Medium to publish content, and we focused on building backlinks by listing our site on directories. Now, we have more site visits in the past 30 days than in the previous 4 months.

We haven't become profitable just yet, but having a couple of contracts has really given us the confidence to keep this thing going.

I should also note that we are using the term MRR instead of retainer (yuck) because my team comes from self-service SaaS backgrounds and we want to be an agency that runs like a tech company.

If you know any businesses that have been hit hard from Coronavirus we'd love to help get them back on track.

We were dealt a pretty bad hand of cards this year. We would've never guessed that we had to start a business during a pandemic.

However, we have managed to attract a couple of more clients allowing us to now have a basecamp where we can conduct operations.

It might not be a massive win, but we feel great about it. Especially since it's in the popular Wynwood art district down here in Miami.

I started New Theory Creative with my co-founder (and best friend) Edgar. We wanted to help businesses of all sizes scale — and scale FAST.

Having worked, consulted, and freelanced for businesses of all sizes, we're putting our knowledge to use to help businesses attain their goals.

We're starting off local (Miami) and will grow the business little-by-little.
