Newday
Interstitial journalling + tasks for overwhelmed Sales & CS
Built something I've been wanting for a while for myself and thought I'd share here.
Problem I faced: I work in GTM as a Lead and kept running into the same problem. After calls, meetings and client work I'd have notes in Granola, Pen and Paper, Apple Notes and more, then I'd have to go back into HubSpot and Notion and manually close existing tasks. By the time I got around to it I was already onto the next thing and usually things fell through the cracks.
So I built a daily journal that adds and marks tasks off as you write, and connects to HubSpot and Notion, I call it Newday.
Here's how it works:
- Your open tasks from HubSpot and Notion pull in each morning when you hit 'Newday'. Any tasks you didn't finish day prior roll over.
- You write naturally about your day, the most effective way is with interstitial journalling. So you'd write, "I am currently doing x, then I need to do y and z". Newday knows to ignore what you're currently doing, and will create tasks on what you need to do.
- When you mention finishing something, Newday reads it and marks the task done in the platform automatically and on Hubspot/Notion if you have them connected.
- End of day it generates a summary of everything you achieved when you hit 'Newday'.
I also added project tagging, so you type in an entry with @ it tags it to that project. Filter your history by project to see everything done over time.
It's early but I have real users using it daily unprompted which is pretty cool.
Giving free Pro access to anyone who wants to try it and would find it useful. Any feedback would be awesome. Works best on Desktop/Laptop.

About
GTM teams are drowning in tools and priorities but losing focus on what matters. I built Newday to fix this, interstitial journalling + tasks, synced with HubSpot and Notion. Built in 5 evenings. Looking for early users.
