NewsBox
Newsletter Reading App
I decided that I would launch early on Product Hunt to try and get some early feedback. It generated some traffic to the site and got my first downloads which I was delighted about.
A small step but it's good to see that people are liking the idea and seeing the potentials benefits of the app!
I would love if you could have a look at the app and provide some feedback!
Today I launched NewsBox, a newsletter app which lets users subscribe to newsletters with just one click, keeping newsletters inside the app, and away from your email inbox.
Why did I create NewsBox?
As I started to become more reliant on newsletters for consuming news and other content, my email inbox started to become cluttered with newsletters, taking the attention away from important emails which I needed to reply to.
I then started to think of the benefits of a platform designed specifically for newsletters, where I can subscribe and unsubscribe from newsletters with just one click. There are also other benefits such as finding awesome newsletters that we didn't know existed.
So what does NewsBox provide?
Currently, an Android app where you can easily search for and explore newsletters, subscribe/unsubscribe with just one click and read your newsletters in an app specifically designed for newsletters.
What's next?
Keep having fun. This project has been so much fun, I've learnt loads and now have an app on my phone which I use more than TikTok...
I want to keep adding to the list of supported newsletters, along with developing the iOS and web apps.
Feel free to comment with your favourite newsletters and I'll get them added.
