Newsletters.love

Had to perform a quick server maintenance today.

The server that newsletters.love is hosted on had a degraded RAID battery which was causing significant IO performance issues.

After a quick battery change, we're back and running again! (Look at how bloated the battery was!)

When I built this, it was mainly to solve my own problem, where my newsletters and email content that I follow are all buried underneath all my emails.

As I use my email mostly for work, email isn't really a relaxing tool and hardly a good tool to read relaxing or informative content.

I needed a "Third Place" where I could be more deliberate in reading my newsletters and email content. Where I can bucket them according to topics and read them without it being cluttered by other emails.

I wanted to read my newsletters like how I read my content and that includes being able to read it with my RSS reader.

With this service, I find myself reading newsletters daily as part of my content consumption instead of it being hidden and buried somewhere.
