Newsletterss
Dedicated reader and RSS feed for newsletters and substacks.
I'm part of a growth marketing Slack community where the people form Indie Hackers reached out for interesting projects that were up for an interview, and we were selected.
The interview was featured on Christmas day, and I'm still not sure if that's the best or worst time to be at the top of Indie Hackers, but I am about to figure it out.

Six months after launching on the App Store, most of the revenue comes from Apple and today, the $1K mark was surpassed. Growth is slow but steady, which is something I'm very comfortable with.
This is very encouraging and helps keeps the momentum to continue building the best product in its class.

Today one of my first customers for Newsletterss purchased a monthly subscription via the App Store. I noticed when I checked my Apple Developer Account, which I keep refreshing every 5 minutes. It felt amazing! Hopefully more people will see the value and subscribe as well.

After almost 2 months of building the mobile apps for Newsletterss and some back and forth due to Apple's rejection, I pushed the "release" button on the App Store and made the app available for the whole world.
This version was free to use and an additional plan for $0.99 and $9.99 respectively for monthly and annual subscriptions.

Newsletterss is my side project, on a really good day I was able to put 2 hours of work after putting my kid to bed, but those days were the exception and not the norm.
After 2 months of work I made the website public and didn't tell anyone but a good friend of mine who since then, has given me really good feedback.
The first version hasn't changed much from the current one, the simplest possible application built using Go and optimized for a low cost of operation, leveraging serverless technologies running in the cloud.

I'm an avid consumer of content and newsletters have experienced a great explosion over the past two years with more and more creators choosing it as they're preferred way of reaching out to their audience.
I started tinkering with the idea and wanted to build something for myself. This is the date of my first commit, when I created a tiny service that allowed me to accept and parse HTML content for a custom domain.
That initial domain was ezreads.co, but later on stumbled on the current one, which I still think it's much better. That's how Newsletterss was born!

Email is the transport mechanism for newsletters, but that doesn't mean it has to be mixed up with emails from your doctor, real estate agent or kids school. Newsletterss de-clutters your inbox by keeping them separated.
