Web development, design, and marketing agency

March 18, 2022 Built a landing page, started looking for clients

Finally decided to build my own web design/development/marketing agency. Designed and built a landing page (https://nexylabs.io), added my portfolio projects to it, and started looking for clients.

Still struggling to define my niche and my offer. I'd love to provide my services to indie hackers or content creators (writers, artists, course creators, etc) - but I'm not sure if I'll be able to sell my services successfully.

The problem - indie hackers already have the technical and design skills, so I'm not sure if they'll value what I have to offer. Content creators can just use platforms like Gumroad, Teachable, Ghost, Substack, etc - they don't need a custom-designed website.

And both indie hackers and content creators tend to be bootstrappers with small or no budget, so I'm not sure they'll be able to afford to pay the prices I need to charge for this to be profitable.

And yet, I think my skills do have value to some people, and there must be some people willing and able to pay for my services. The question is - will I be able to find them, and successfully sell to them?
