Hey IH Community!

I built Nickels & Dimes because I kept losing track of my calisthenics workouts across random notes, journals, and memory text. I wanted something that felt like Nike Run Club, but for push-ups, pull-ups, etc. instead of running. The name comes from David Goggins' "Nickels and Dimes" workout. I built the entire web app myself with Claude Code: Next.js and TypeScript on the frontend, Supabase for auth and the Postgres database, deployed on Vercel. I'm still using it every day with my own friend group. You can log any calisthenics movement, track your all-time PRs, and start a public club anyone can discover or a private one just for your crew. Either way you get a shared leaderboard that resets monthly. Give it a shot if you're into calisthenics, and let me know what you think!

The interesting part is that you’re not just tracking workouts — the shared monthly leaderboard gives the habit a social loop. I’d be curious whether that ends up being what keeps people coming back more than the tracking itself.

Really appreciate the feedback, would love if you tried it out and used it and always open to more feedback, thanks again!

That’s fair. Before you get more usage data, what would you most want to learn from people actually using it — whether the leaderboard drives repeat use, or whether the tracking itself is enough to bring them back?

    Cool will try it out!
