October 20, 2020 Gathered 50 emails from interested developers

I basically put up a landing page presenting the product, and created Facebook ads to redirect people to the landing page. Within a week I had the 50 emails.

I plugged Airtable to the form on the landing page so I could save the emails there and added Slack notifications to keep me motivated 😌

After reaching 50 emails I stopped so it doesn't empty my bank account... But all in all, it costed about $50.

September 15, 2020 Decided to start the project

It was a few months since I wanted to build a Tech platform here in Africa.

From what I've heard, Tech is really spreading across the African continent, and in the future there will be more and more developers.

I think it could be interesting to anticipate this growth in the developers population by providing them with tools to experiment, grow with them and address their real needs.

Also, Nimba aims to give Tech education to people who were not as lucky as we are, so part of the Premium subscriptions will be used to do that.

About

I want to give Africa another Tech product to be proud of, and provide developers with a platform that is being built next to them.
