After working on it for a year I'm finally launching my course today! Did about $8000 in pre-sales and just opened it up to everyone. Now it's time to promoted it through my Internet friends, Makerpad, Newsletter and Podcasts - let's see how it goes!
Also about to hit 1000 Twitter followers for it (super vanity but still fun ;) )
Wow $8k in pre-sales. That's a great signal for market demand, isn't it? Curious: what did you do for pre-sales marketing? Tips, strategies, hacks?
pretty much just talking about it on Twitter, and I build a pre-launch email list of about 2800 people (more sales from Twitter though)
Hey Bram, that's awesome! $8k in pre-sales is great.
thanks :)
Well done. Pre-selling is a great way to get interest for your product before building it! We've also grown ManyRequests (my SaaS) to $15k in pre-sales that way.
It's been so crazy! Waking up in the morning and seeing the Stripe notifications. It's insane, and why I love the internet :)
Yet another proof point that people want no code..
Damn! Nice work! $8k is a very solid pre-sale number. Wishing you the best of luck selling even more now that you have launched.
thanks!

To be honest I just did what I think was valuable and relevant for my community (twitter + email list), sharing previews, talking about the progress, AND ABOVE ALL: making sure my content is great (validated this online course with company training/workshops, already made about $15k with that)
