I’ve been watching the no-code landscape shift lately, and it’s getting expensive. Between Bubble’s Workload Units (WU), Lovable’s credits, and the "per-task" fees on almost every AI wrapper, many of us are building on top of a ticking time bomb.

I call it the AI Credit Tax.

It’s that moment when your app finally gets some traction, but instead of celebrating, you’re panicking because your hosting bill just spiked by $400.

I decided to do something about it, so I built NoCodeCost.xyz.

It’s a 100% free resource hub designed to help founders move from "expensive prototypes" to "sustainable software." I’m centering it around a logic I call the 5-Feature Lock Framework—a way to architect your app so it stays lean, fast, and predictable.

Why I’m doing this:

1. Transparency: Platform pricing is getting too complex to calculate on a napkin.

2. Sustainability: I want to see more bootstrapped wins and fewer "I had to shut down because of the bill" posts.

3. Community: I’m building this in public and want to know what calculators or guides you actually need.
