nocodery
The no-code learning and jobs platform.
💁 1887 users (-30%)
👀 11,396 page views (-17,50%)
🎓 $242 Courses (+144.5%)
👨🏫 $121 Instructor's Payout (+169%)
🏷️ $140 Advertisement (0%)
This was our biggest month until today and it was the first month were our biggest source of revenue isn't the advertisement. The course sales skyrocketed even with the price increase after the pre-order phase which is really good.
This gives us the strength to work even more and to achieve even better results next month.

💁 2688 users (262%)
👀 13,806 page views (304%)
🎓 $99 Courses (100%)
👨🏫 $45 Instructor's Payout (100%)
🏷️ $140 Advertisement (-30%)
This was the first month where we started selling courses. Our Adalo course contributed almost 100% for all course sales even during pre-order.
We also adjusted the advertisement pricing which ended up decreasing our revenue on that side.

After the launch, we went back to the user feedback to see what we could improve on the new version.
So here's what changed on NoCodery this week:
- Job posts are now listed by tool instead of source, so it's easy to spot a job offer that fits your skill set.
- Job posts now open in a new page so you can open all of the offers you like and review them one by one.
- The new Job offer page has related job offers and related tutorials, in case you're interested in learning more about a no-code tool.
- SEO improved drastically so, we can find us faster on google.
- New Job posts are back on the main page but not so "in your face" as before.
- Social media preview now includes images and better descriptions.
- A new RSS feed source
- More tutorials listed
If you have any request, feel free to contact us and we will make sure to include it on the roadmap.

After a month of preparation and changing a bit the focus of what would be the version 2.0 we launched on Product Hunt.
Fortunately, we have already a good number of followers on twitter, daily visitors on the platform and the group from the previous launch so, we were able to reach a 2nd most vote product of the day, which gave us good exposure.
Version 2.0 focused mainly on 2 things:
- Improving job application experience.
- Aggregate tutorials in an easy to search way.
We decided to improve the job application because we listen to our users. They were sick of going back and forth to different platforms and it was hard to keep track or even make new accounts on these platforms. So, we decided to take that task our selves and contact the job post directly.
The tutorials section was something that was on our roadmap but not a priority. It became a priority for the worst reasons. Due to the coronavirus, we saw an increase of unemployed people finding no-code as an alternative career path. Since our jobs were not at risk we knew that could do something to help these people in need and that's why we build an easy to use no-code tutorial directory.

March was a pretty stale month. Since we were focused on releasing our version 2.0 and not on promotion the conversion was the same. Due to the coronavirus mandatory lockdown in Portugal, we had to delay our launch but it was good to understand that there are other opportunities for NoCodery which made us change the priorities a bit.

🔥 next month: nocodery 2.0
As usual, after launching the product will always have fewer visits and stabilize on a recurring number of users.
That wasn't a problem for the business since we've opened some streams of revenue on ads around the pages and newsletter.
Besides that, we're focused on being the best place to find no-code talent and we are already preparing nocodery 2.0 to improve the job post quality.

We've surpassed 30 tolls today, so I had to implement pagination into the tools page.
We also got our 5th customer Landen.co from a fellow IH @Felixg so, thanks for the support (I actually just found out that :D).
We've also been killing it with the new leads generation feature, but I'll leave that for another update.

When we started this project I was projecting to have at least one job post sale on launch day and after all the trouble we had with stripe I could never foresee this.
February is starting even stronger.

So, people at Bubble were happy to have the extra spot and now are a happy customer (well I'm happy as well)
But a another thing happened that made me really happy. Our first job post customer came back for more in every way. Not only he found another bug on the form (still not testing properly) but he also bought another job post 🙌
So, this made our best day in revenue for the first month.

Memberstack just got out the last spot of our 3 slots launch campaign.
My intention was to raise the price by $50 after the 3 spots (making only a 50% discount on the banner) but I've talked with Bubble early today and they were interested.
So, I've decided to extend the promo for them for another 24h and I've sent them an email explaining.
This way I don't feel like I'm taking advantage of them or being greedy.
I believe that is more important to give a chance to the customer and keep a relationship rather than getting an extra $ right now.

I've noticed that with the growth of nocode software and nocode communities like makerpad and nucode there are a great number of people that know how to use these sotfware and the people that need to hire them.
