Mac meeting notes that don't join the call or store audio
I just launched Nod, a native macOS app that turns your meetings and calls into clean notes.
I built it because I wanted to stay productive in meetings without fighting my tools. Every notes app I tried wanted to add a bot to the call -- that friction always bugged me. So Nod listens to your Mac's system audio instead: no bot, no "X has joined" moment, works with any app (Zoom, Meet, Teams, Slack huddles).
I also cared about privacy for everyone on the call, not just me -- so audio is never stored, only the transcript and summary. EU-hosted, no training on your data.
It's Mac-only and in free beta right now. Would love feedback from this community, especially from anyone who's tried the bot-based tools and felt the same friction.
