Node.js Design Patterns
A book to learn how to build production-ready Node.js apps
Our latest blog article (https://www.nodejsdesignpatterns.com/blog/node-js-race-conditions/) ended up on the first page of Hacker News and helped to drive a significant amount of traffic to the website. In just a few hours we got more than 4k unique visitors.
At the end of December 2020, we launched an official blog on the book's website (https://www.nodejsdesignpatterns.com/blog/).
We already published a first article which has already got 1.000 readers.
We aim to expand the blog and use it for inbound marketing and to drive more organic traffic to the book's website.

In October, Node.js has been featured multiple times in the top 20 of most sold books on Amazon.com for several categories including "JavaScript", "APIs" and "Design Pattern Programming".
At some point, the book was even 2nd for the "JavaScript" category. It didn't last particularly long but it was still rewarding to see that the book is getting enough traction and attention and competing with other more established books.

In August we built and launched a fully revamped website. https://www.nodejsdesignpatterns.com
The new website aims to be a landing page to promote the third edition of the book.
We put a lot of effort into building in such a way that it conveys trust and a sense of care for quality.
It was great to be able to get a good amount of endorsements from world-famous software engineers.

After almost a year of hard work, we totally revamped the book and rewrite it from scratch with a lot of new content.
This brings the book up to date to the latest JavaScript and Node.js features and introduces some new patterns and best practices.
Since we launched this new edition we got tons of positive feedback and the book seems to be more visible than ever!
