Android is back — completely rebuilt, not just relaunched. Same 40+ sounds, same mixer you know from Mac and iOS, now running properly on Android with Google Play and Amazon Appstore support. https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.noizio.app&pcampaignid=web_share

December 2025 Started rebuilding Android from scratch

Came back to Android with a clean slate. Instead of patching the old codebase, started a full rewrite — new repo, modern stack, built to actually be maintainable this time.

February 27, 2023 Pulled Android from the store

Android just wasn't holding up — too many device-specific bugs, too little time to keep patching them properly. Rather than let it rot with bad reviews, I pulled it and focused on Mac and iOS instead.

November 17, 2022 iOS gets its turn

Brought the same mixer to iOS properly — not just a port, but rebuilt for touch. Same sounds, same idea: blend rain, waves, campfire and more into your own background, now on iPhone and iPad too.

April 12, 2021 Big update to the Mac version

Spent 2021 mostly heads-down on the Mac app — new sounds, a cleaner mixer, and a bunch of stability fixes. Mac has always been where Noizio started, so it got the most attention that year.

About

I started Noizio in 2014 because no sound mixer let me blend more than one ambient sound at once. It's been my side project ever since, squeezed between design work — now used daily to focus, sleep, or unwind.
