Hey all,

Since we got our fb ads account disabled (been trying to find workarounds), we've been looking into other sources of traffic. We ran some ads on PornHub and made them intentionally crude and funny - dollar shave club-esque.

Got alot of traffic, but very little sales from those ads.

Decided to post the ads on imgur because they're pretty funny, and i didnt check the app all day yesterday. I realized we were getting organic traffic and direct traffic, but couldn't figure out from where.

Suddenly, around 9pm, there was a huge surge in traffic and sales. I checked my google analytics and there were consistently 50 people on the site at the same time for the next few hours - we've barely been able to break 10 yet. I was scrambling to figure out where it was coming from because all google was telling me was that it was direct traffic, not that it was from Imgur.

Turns out, the post went viral and some nice lad decided to google search us, find our website and post the website in the comments section of that post.

At this point, I still had no idea where this huge surge was coming from. Thought it was Uncrate because we submitted to them a few days ago. Then I got a notification from Imgur that our post made the "Most Viral" page and it kept growing for the next few hours.

Its about 6am here and the traffic is still trickling in, although its staying around the 5-15 people at a time range. We made around $500 in sales, but also got some abandoned carts and some emails to work with. Its a shame that we dont have a FB ads account to retarget them, but maybe Google Display ads might bring some results.

We have a few more funny ads that we made for PornHub, so might post those and see if theyre a hit too. Also, need to find a community in reddit to try and replicate that. I need that Reddit hug of death.

In other news, our customers started leaving reviews and they love the underwear! Such an amazing feeling.
