Hi guys!

Getting my SaaS out there is a lot harder than I expected. Lots of ups and downs but I appreciate it all because I’ve learned a lot along the way. My SaaS has also has been looking better little by little.

My traction is pretty decent but converting those signups to subs is definitely difficult!! So far only 2 subs but I’ve made some changes that I believe will close the gap in my funnel.

June 10, 2025 🚀 3 Weeks In: 4 Signups + New Features Live!

Hey IH friends! Just wanted to share a quick update on my SaaS journey with nootlie (https://nootlie.com) — a study tool I’ve been building solo for the past few months.

Now nootlie turns audio, PDFs, URLs + typed text into structured notes, flashcards, and quizzes. Think AI note-taking meets study guide generator — but personalized to how you study.

Over the past few weeks:

    •    🎉 I got my first 4 real signups (after nearly 3 weeks of silence!)

    •    📄 Just launched PDF to Notes + Study Tools

    •    🌐 Added support for typed text and website links

    •    💡 Working on “Homework Assist” and “Discussion Assist” to help students generate ideas!

Still no paid subscribers yet, but that’s okay. I’m iterating quickly, talking to users, and trying to improve the core experience before going all-in on back-to-school campaigns in August.

This is by far the most emotionally exhausting thing I’ve ever done, but I believe in the product. Students need something like this — especially ones who are overwhelmed and don’t know where to start when it comes to studying.

If you’ve got feedback or ideas, I’m all ears.

And if you’re curious, here’s the site: https://nootlie.com

May 23, 2025 Launch Day Reflection

Hi Indie Hackers,

First off, thank you to everyone who shared kind words about nootlie, your support truly means a lot. Although my Product Hunt launch didn’t go as well as I’d hoped, the feedback and encouragement I received here on Indie Hackers gave me the motivation I needed to keep going.

I’ll admit, it’s discouraging to launch something you’ve poured your heart into and not see the response you expected. But I know this is only the beginning. Every founder starts somewhere, and I’m determined to keep building, improving, and growing nootlie.

I appreciate all of you who are following along. Thanks again and I hope you’ll stick around to see where this goes.

May 22, 2025 Scary but exciting

Hi Indie Hackers,

My name is Mireya and I have officially launched my SaaS product - nootlie. It’s an AI note-taking assistant where students can upload their recorded lectures, meetings, study sessions etc. and instantly turn them into structured notes like Cornell notes or mind maps plus flashcards and quizzes too! It’s like the ultimate study tool 🧑🏾‍💻📚

As someone who struggled my whole educational career, I know this tool could’ve helped me in school and I hope this can help others now.

The journey from idea to launch was long and challenging, but I am grateful it’s launched and I am ready for the journey ahead.

Thank you for checking nootlie out!

Looks great. Do you have any plans on building out integrations to services like Notion?

Hi, thank you and yes, that is on the roadmap! I have so many more features I plan to implement but right now I’m focused on refining the core product features. I don’t have an estimation of when that would be integrated but I will for sure try to have it done soon!
