Migrate OneNote notebooks to Notion without losing content.

I built Note Bridge (note-bridge.co) because every existing method for moving OneNote notebooks to Notion is either broken, abandoned, or loses half your content. I had 1,500 pages to move and nothing worked, so I built it myself.

Two weeks after launch, I got an email from LemonSqueezy. A payment notification. I hadn't done any marketing — no Product Hunt, no Reddit posts, no ads. The only thing I'd done was register with Google Search Console. Even zero blog post. Someone found me through Google and paid.

That alone was surprising. But what really caught me off guard was this: the customer migrated 2,689 pages and paid $45.99 — without ever using the free trial.

Note Bridge offers 20 free pages specifically because migration quality matters. I assumed most people would test on a small notebook first, check the results in Notion, then come back to pay for the full migration. This person skipped all of that. Landed on the site, connected their accounts, scanned their notebook, and paid immediately.

Since then, two more paying customers followed — one from Spain, one from Germany. Same pattern: land, scan, pay, all in one session. Total revenue so far is $66.25 across four transactions.

A few things I've taken away from this:

SEO works faster than I expected for high-intent niches. "OneNote to Notion migration" is a narrow query, but the people searching for it are ready to pay. I didn't need a content marketing funnel — one blog post ranking on the right keyword was enough.

Pricing presentation matters more than pricing itself. I had one abandoned checkout early on: 193 pages scanned but not paid. The pricing at the time was shown as per-page rates, which probably made the mental math feel expensive. I switched to flat tiers ($9 / $29 / $79) with smooth scaling, and the hesitation disappeared.

When intent is high enough, free trials aren't the bottleneck. I built the 20-page trial assuming it would be the main conversion driver. Turns out, if the site looks credible and the price is reasonable, people just pay. Three out of three paying customers skipped the trial.
