AI Powerd Social Proof Popup, Gamification With Lead Capture
Most social proof tools look like this:
"Peter from New York just purchased."
The problem?
Everyone sees the exact same notification.
A visitor from London might see someone from Texas.
A visitor from Mumbai might see someone from Ohio.
Once you notice it, you can't unsee it.
That made me wonder:
If social proof is supposed to build trust, why does it feel fake?
So instead of building another popup app, I started building NotientAI.
The idea is simple:
AI writes the popup copy from your website.
Notifications adapt to each visitor's location.
Businesses can show recent purchases, signups, visitor activity and gamified lead capture all without redesigning their website.
Building it hasn't been smooth.
Payment providers rejected us.
We had to rebuild our billing multiple times.
We're still bootstrapping and trying to get our first customers.
But every week the product gets closer to the vision I had from day one.
I'd love feedback from other founders:
What's the biggest thing stopping you from adding social proof to your website today?
About
I built NotientAI because I noticed most social proof tools feel fake and repetitive. Every website showed the same generic notifications like "Peter from New York just purchased," regardless of who was actually visiting

I think you've shifted the problem in an interesting way.
It isn't that social proof popups exist—it's that generic social proof stops feeling like proof. Once visitors suspect the same message is shown to everyone, trust can actually decrease. Making the proof feel genuinely relevant may matter more than showing more notifications.
